Basic Coverage
In addition, you are automatically protected for free against accidental damage to your possessions by coverage of $.60 per pound, per item, up to the value of the move price. Forms
The forms below are provided to assist you during the move process. Some of the forms are for viewing and printing in PDF format and require the Adobe Acrobat Reader and Plug-in installed for viewing.
The valued inventory is an extremely important part of the relocation process. Though it appears to be somewhat complex at initial glance, it is really quite simple and is an invaluable tool in the event you have to file a claim. All items should be scheduled on the form and properly insured to value. Please note: Items not listed on the valued inventory are not insured and will not be considered in the event of a claim.
Please carefully review the terms and conditions of the coverage, paying close attention to items that are excluded from coverage. Once you have fully completed the valued inventory, return it to your mover, agent or forwarder, as it should be attached to the insurance certificate for coverage.
If you are shipping an automobile, please be certain nothing is shipped inside the car. There is no coverage for "household goods and personal effects" that might be shipped in the automobile. Also be sure non-factory installed items are specifically listed and separately declared for coverage.
Please contact us if you have any questions about completing the form.
If you are moving an automobile, it will be necessary that a Condition Report be completed and signed by you and the moving agent at origin and again at destination.
